As part of our commitment to education & career, the DEC NETWORK® provides several free seminars to the local community and offers pro bono services to families in need.

In addition, the DEC NETWORK sponsors an annual scholarship to a Ridgefield High School student who plans to pursue a college education upon graduation. The selection criteria include demonstration of a positive attitude, enthusiastic spirit, academic integrity and community/ school leadership. DEC scholarship recipients include Kil Ho Lee ( Class of 2011, University of Michigan), Kerrie Riley (Class of 2012, University of Richmond), Lauren Peterson (Class of 2013, University of Virginia), and Alex Trombetta (Class of 2014, Boston College). 

Finally, the DEC NETWORK supports the IECA Foundation (Hopeworks 'n Camden, NJ; Legacy of Learning, CO; and Motivating our Students Through  Experience, CA), American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, Connecticut Special Olympics as well as Ridgefield's Boys and Girls Club, Keeler Tavern Museum, Visiting Nurse Association,  and A Better Chance (ABC House).
